Preliminary task

This is our completed preliminary task. It took some time for us all to get used to working with a camera but found it enjoyable and had to laugh when things weren't going as planned. We stuck to our storyboard and script which we had created before hand. This made the process of filming the clip quicker for us as we knew what we were doing without having to discuss what to do next after each shot.

We went out of our way to get the task completed which wasn't a problem as we wanted to get as much experience with the camera before starting on our final clip to make it the best as we possibly can.

A few technical issues occured when trying to transfer each shot onto the Apple Mac but overcame these after some time.

After putting the shots in order onto iMovie we edited in appropriate sounds and transitions throughout the clip, and a title and credits fitted in at the beggining and end.

Overall I think we've done very well for the first time using a camera and have enjoyed it on a high level.

I had fun working together with my group (Jodi Lee, Chelsea Neil and myself) whilst filming and edditing the clip and experimenting with the different sounds and transitions that could be used.

Doing this preliminary task, I think, has been a very good learning curve and I'm sure we would be able to complete it again at a quicker pace if we repeated this task.
